You can check the most updated ATM information on the MyAccount website, including ATM location, availability, and affiliated bank.”  As part of the program, we are developing a network of more than 1,200 ATMs across all KRI


  • How do beneficiaries use the ATM for transactions?

Insert or tap your debit card on the ATM, enter your PIN, and follow the on-screen instructions for the desired transaction, such as withdrawal, balance inquiry, or PIN change


  • Can beneficiaries use an ATM from another bank?

You can use any available ATM in the country, however, it’s important to note, that fees will apply if you withdraw from a different bank’s ATM. Withdrawals from your bank’s ATMs are free


  • How can beneficiaries ask for help if they still don’t know how to use an ATM?

Representatives from the banks and the dedicated government entity will be deployed next to ATMs to support beneficiaries for the first few months. Additionally, you will receive a video on how to use an ATM, which is also available on the website


  • What if the ATM doesn’t work?

If an ATM is out of service, you can choose to visit one of the nearest ATMs to your location. Additionally, the bank's technical support team will ensure that ATMs are always functional and are promptly repaired when necessary


  • Can beneficiaries withdraw money outside their region (e.g., Erbil)? And outside the country?

Yes, you can withdraw money anywhere in any ATM. ATMs from your banks will always be free of charge.


  • Are there any applicable fees for cash” withdrawals “at the ATMs?

Withdrawing from your own bank’s ATMS will be free of charge, whereas withdrawing from a different bank’s ATM will incur a commission of around 0.4%


  • Are there any fees for balance inquiries or other non-cash transactions?

Fees for balance inquiries or other non-cash transactions should be free across all banks. Check with your bank customer service for any specific fee information


  • Are there withdrawal limits?

Withdrawal limits may vary depending on your bank. Please check with your bank’s customer service for further information


  • What should beneficiaries do if the ATM retains their card or doesn't dispense cash?

If the ATM retains your card or doesn't dispense cash, contact your bank's customer service immediately for assistance


  • What if beneficiaries lose their debit card?

If you lose your debit card, it’s important to notify the bank’s customer service, by contacting the call center or visiting the nearest branch. The bank will cancel your old card and issue a new one within 3 to 5 working days


  • How can beneficiaries report an issue with an ATM, such as a malfunction or lack of cash?

To report an issue with an ATM, contact your bank's customer service and provide the details of the issue and the ATM's location


  • What if beneficiaries' salaries isn’t available on the salary payment day?

The government is committed to ensuring that public sector employees receive their salaries on fixed dates every month. In the event of any delays, the government will inform employees, through the regular communication channels, of the expected delay day


  • What should beneficiaries do if they notice a suspicious activity or device on an ATM?

If you notice any suspicious activity or device on an ATM, such as a card skimmer, do not use the ATM and immediately report the issue to the Care Team or your bank's customer service


  • How can beneficiaries ensure the safety and security of their transactions at the ATM?

To ensure the safety and security of your transactions at the ATM, always protect your PIN and avoid sharing it with anyone. Regularly monitor your account statements for any unauthorized transactions


  • How can beneficiaries protect their card and PIN from theft or fraud at the ATM?


To protect your card and PIN, always shield the keypad while entering your PIN, and do not share your card or PIN with anyone
